THE OTTER

The Otter, formerly under the operation of Captain Bruce Sportfishing, has been running since 2005. She has been completely refurbished and customized to make your fishing trip safe and comfortable. With a 12 foot beam, 110 sq. ft. cockpit and large salon, there is plenty of room for up to six passengers to relax and enjoy an exciting inshore or offshore fishing adventure. State of the art electronics help to ensure your safety and success.

Brand new twin Volvo diesel engine provide a fast 28+ mph cruise and are whisper quiet with extremely low emissions (no diesel odor!).

Her fast speed means you get to spend much more time fishing!

THE AUBREY JOY

The Aubrey Joy is a 2002, 48' Chesapeake deadrise boat made by Chesapeake Boats Inc. She sports an 800 Hp CAT engine and cruises at 18 kts. With a 16' beam and 30' of deck space, she comfortably fishes up to 20 people.

This boat is available for open boat, private charter and specialty trips!

Captain SETH

Captain Seth Megargle, with a U.S.C.G. 100 ton Master’s License, has fished the local waters of CT, RI and NY for over 22 years. From the young age of five without prompt or guidance, Seth found his passion for fishing. If Seth was missing at home, he could be found at the nearest river, lake or beach with rod in hand! At the age of seventeen, he naturally found himself working on some of the area fishing boats. After serving in the Marine Corps for four years, Seth returned to work as a mate on head boats and six packs while finishing his college degree in Marine Science. Seth acquired his Captain’s license shortly before graduating from UCONN Avery Point in 2010.  He has been running various fishing vessels and working the deck ever since. Now, father of a four year old son and two year old daughter, Seth hopes that his love for the ocean and passion for fishing is passed down to the next generation. Seth has always been about hard work and family values and looks forward to taking those values with him on this new adventure aboard the Otter and Aubrey Joy!

Captain MIKE

Mike Salkauskas started working on boats when he was 12 years old, making this his 22 second seasons. He received his six pack license at the age of 20 and upgraded to his 100 ton masters license at 29. He’s been fishing since he was old enough to hold a pole and has always held a fascination with the outdoors.
